July 2016 : Royal Agricultural University BSc (Pass Degree)

Institution : Royal Agricultural University

Award : Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Pass Degree)

Description : Black silk, lined with champagne gold, tipped with maroon College damask.

Shape : CNAA [a1]

Founded as the Royal Agricultural College at Cirencester in 1845, the college has awarded its own degrees since 1995, and attained university status in 2013. The hoods are lined with a special silk of maroon, embroidered with the University's wheat-sheaf logo in pale gold. It is one of the few universities that makes a difference between the hoods used by bachelors with pass degrees (shown here) and honours degrees (lined with the maroon silk, and tipped gold).
