December 2016 : University of East Anglia MA

Institution : The University of East Anglia (UEA)

Award : Master of Arts (MA)

Description : Dark blue, covered outside with coral pink taffeta, arranged in four folds.

Shape : East Anglia [a4]

The academic robes of UEA were designed by Cecil Beaton. The hoods have a unique shape, [a4], with the degree colour being applied outside - six inches for bachelors, and a full covering for masters, as here. The master's outside lining, is arranged in four wide folds. (The gown should be dark blue, but a black one has been used for the sake of the contrast.).
